Photography can mean different things for different people. For some people, it means a hobby; for some people, it means a lifestyle; for Ziyu, it means capturing a moment. A moment of a frozen action, a moment that can reflect on reality, or a moment that can make a usual scene unusual.

Ziyu became interested in photography after he graduated from elementary school in China. That year on his trip to Russia, he, for the first time, picked up a camera. It was Nothing fancy, but a camera with a touchscreen. The trip piqued his interest in capturing sublime landscapes and his curiosity towards photography as a whole.

In 2019, Ziyu received honorable mention at 2019 Maine Regional Scholastic Awards, which is yet another milestone in his photography career. He always wants to better himself, which is another reason why he started this photography studio -- he wants to learn from people around him, especially his clients. "I like to put myself out there and get out of my comfort zone", Ziyu said. He always wants to improve his skills, and this photography studio is another challenge awaiting.
